Dwight Anderson, the firm’s Managing Partner, launched the original Ospraie Fund in 1999 in partnership with Tudor Investment Corporation (“Tudor”), where he served as Head of the Basic Industries Group, before establishing Ospraie as an independent firm in 2004. Mr. Anderson has over 35 years’ experience investing in commodities and basic industry markets.
